I spent over 15 years as a high school teacher. I had an occassional massage during that time, but was not a regular. In 2006 I dated a massage therapist, got to know his friends, and attended a Body Electric workshop. After learning just how powerful and healing touch can be, I decided to go to massage school. I graduated in April 2009 and immediately started a massage business with a classmate. Things changed and I have now stepped out on my own. About a week after graduation I also started working at Cortiva School of Massage assisting in classes and am now teaching Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathology, Swedish massage and other classes full time. During my time in massage school I had exposure to Lomi Lomi massage. I found I really like how it unifies the body and enjoy doing it. So in March 2010 I attended a week long Lomi Lomi massage intensive workshop in Hawaii to further build my massage skills.

If you ever notice a bit of a shake as I do the work, I have a benign tremor.

Besides loving massage, I enjoy time with my partner Michael, with friends, cooking, concerts, travel, and outdoor activities such as hiking, backpacking, kayaking, and cross-country skiing. I am involved with the groups OutVentures and Ski Buddies.
